imagine a world where we've mastered programming and robotics. The company that makes the intelligent robots, MOTDICHI, has made 26 different robot personalities, including Asian, English, and Gopnik. Enter their newest technical endeavor: yet another AI robot simply called 27. However, she's different than most of the other robots. She's been programmed to learn not from set code, but from EXPERIENCE So technically, what she views as good and bad, happy and sad, is dependent on how she views those kinds of situations. Naturally, the company wants to keep her secret to continue testing on her, but in time, she develops what can only be described as hatred towards the humans that made her and escapes the lab. She comes across Dave, a lowly American dude. Together, they go on a life changing where 27 and Dave both learn to cope with their own respective issues, with Dave struggling to get over years of self doubt and finding a well suited yet individual place in this world, while 27 grows and learns through her experiences both good and bad, doing double takes on things she once thought were bad (such as humans, obviously) and becoming more of a human in a very existential way. And who knows? By the end of the journey, she might have the experience to call herself her own name...
