Genre Romantic Comedy • Drama • Emotional Twist Premise Two strangers fall in love through messages that were never meant to be sent. EPILOGUE : Miguel still writes. Some habits don't disappear just because the person they're for does. Every night, before sleeping, he opens his phone and types words he knows will never be read. Long messages. Short ones. Random thoughts. Things he wishes he could say out loud. They all end up in the same place. Drafts. He used to think drafts were for unfinished messages.
Now he knows they're for feelings that don't have a destination anymore. The café is still there. Same bell on the door. Same smell of coffee and rain. There's a new barista now-she smiles politely, asks for his order, doesn't tease him for taking too long to decide. Miguel always orders the same thing. Black coffee. Too much sugar. He sits by the window, watching people pass by, wondering how many of them are also carrying words they never sent. Sometimes, he rereads her messages. Luna's drafts. The jokes. The sarcasm. The softness she tried so hard to hide. The way she believed that everything happened for a reason, even when life was being unfair. Especially then. He opens a new draft. I met someone today. Not like you. No one ever will be. But I didn't push them away. I think you'd be proud of me. His fingers hover over the screen. For the first time in months, he doesn't feel like crying. He feels... okay. And maybe that's the reason. Miguel saves the draft and locks his phone. As he stands to leave, his phone vibrates. No message. No name. Just a quiet notification: Draft saved. Miguel smiles, small and real. "Yeah," he whispers, stepping out into the sunlight.
"I know." And for the first time, he walks forward-
carrying love that was never sent,
but was real all the same.
