Being the grandson of Ashish Malhotra, who vowed his best friend, Ram Murthy, the promise of marrying off their children. When her parents perished in a fatal car accident, her brother being an eight year old was in shock and lost his voice. Due to this incident, Nandini and Rishabh had to go to Mangalore. Nandini found her solace in music and dreamt of becoming a versatile playback singer. She had forgotten the name of her would-be husband, but remembered every little detail about him. It was the same case for Manik. He lived a luxurious life in Mumbai with his parents and had five other best friends, Cabir, Mukti, Alya, Dhruv, and Veebha. Excluding Veebha, they made the unbreakable music band, FAB 5. Veebha is a beautiful classical dancer, while the rest were inclined to music. 12 years after that very day of MaNan's bond being formed, they would be destined to meet in SPACE Academy, which is India's number one music and arts college.
