Remember how I wished that I was somewhere else? Well, I closed my eyes and for a few seconds I was an atom floating in nothingness and when I opened my eyes again, I was falling. I hit the cold ground with a thud and it was a miracle I didn't break my back. I looked around. I was in the middle of a forest and judging from the size of the trees I could tell that it was very deep inside. What the hell? How did I even get here? "Lloyd??!!" I called out. The only answer I got was the echo of my own voice. I looked up. Anna had been right, it was a full moon and as soon as I registered that, pain shot through my body. Pain like I have never felt before. Like my bones were breaking and reforming again. I screamed and screamed but no one came. I doubt anyone heard me. Then the pain was gone as fast as it had come. I felt warmer though, and shorter. My senses were increased. I could smell things that must have been miles away, I could feel the tree roots growing beneathe me, I could see as clear as day and I could hear a flowing river nearby. I looked at my feet and instead, I found paws. What the hell? I ran to the river and I could not believe what I saw. I was a wolf, a grey wolf. When a young girl finds out that she has been a wolf all her life, her life is about to change but is it for better or for worse because that is not the only secret her parents had hidden from her.
