(a re-write of another one of my stories) Virgil is scared of what the light sides would think if they knew his secret.

They had their family... they had each other... and now... now they were finally getting married. Or at least that was what the plan was before a certain guest stopped by to through Virgil for a loop. Will he ever get back to his love? Will he ever see his daughter again? WILL HE EVER TURN BACK INTO A HUMAN?!

They used to spend a lot of time together in the subconscious. Anxiety and Deceit; they'd always made quite a team. That was until Virgil became a Light Side. Suddenly, Deceit is left with feelings he didn't even know he was capable of having and no way to deal with them. There seemed to be only one answer: Go to him.

After Virgil left the Dark Sides, a snake thought he was free from his bonds.. he was wrong. There was no escaping for a liar like him. -- Aka what do you get when you cross a mentally ill teen and some lovable characters with angst potential? You get a vent fic I put much effort into around a year ago. This is on hiatus until I find the passion to continue it. Cover art is mine.
