Classic enemies to lovers romcom vibes. Not reinventing the wheel should be an easy read. The reader is a too-happy ghoul who has been given the position of cardinal. Sodo is the bane of their entire existence; they are forced to work together. Gaffs ensue. As they learn about ghouls, Papas, and The Clergy, they begin to fall in love with Mountain. The main character (Y/N) will be written with they/them pronouns to be as inclusive as possible. --> Switches to AFAB reader with they/them pronouns in chapter 26 & onward.
