Only you in your Au survived while others had met their death. The reason why you survived was because W.D. Gaster had combined what left of a soul he had with your damaged one. It's rare, but Gaster talks through you and to you sometimes. If it wasn't for him, you wouldn't of ever figured out the evil deeds science Sans had done. He is now hunting you back down tryin g to retrieve his ' experiments '. It's been three years since you discovered them and two sine you made their escape. You now are planning to reveal them to the world and hopefully have science Sans executed if that's possible. You decided on getting a little help from someone if possible to stand up to the Court of Sans and make sure it happens.
