When Alec Lightwood falls for Clary Fray the second highest female Shadowhunter in Brooklyn Jace gets jealous and will do anything to keep Clary as his now girlfriend. Meanwhile while Clary is still learning her trait as a Shadowhunter she too falls for Alec and the other Shadowhunters of the institute begin to notice. After learning about Clary being in love with Alec Jace goes insane and hatches plans to kill Alec to be with Clary again. (I ship Calec and I think they're cute together so plz no hate on me)

The legend goes for those who have marks that match or are connected then when they have a child the child will have the same mark of the matching marks or the seperate but connected marks will have been attatched when the child is born. Alec has the black half of the yin-yang symbol while Clary has the other half. Both of their marks are where their necks meet their shoulders. Alec and Clary were training in the training room when all of a sudden a little girl with black hair and bright midnight blue eyes and a yin-yang symbol on her neck showed up in front of them covered in blood. * Story is told in Clary's Pov through out the entire story.*
