A rumble goes wrong when a Soc pulls a blade on Dally, the boys have to find a quick way to patch him up. With no money to afford a hospital bill, Dallas suggests they go to someone less than legally qualified. The boys find a girl, only known as Doc, who is a mute, cheap, and talented black market "surgeon", who patches up Dally, but also catches his eye.
