This book is discontinued, which means it will not be updated. - After losing her parents at a young age, Y/N is forced to live with a close family friend, Ben, who works as a police officer. He cares for her but his affection doesn't come close to her parents. One day, Y/N has an argument with Ben and she ends up storming out of the house. Ben goes to follow her and finds her trapped in a convenience store that is being robbed. He runs in to try and save her and ends up getting shot and killed. Y/N is then forced to move to National City when she finds out she has an aunt living there. She finds it difficult to make any new relationships because of all the loved ones she has lost.
