Then later, with Jughead's relationship with Betty on the rocks Jughead begins to doubt his happiness with the girl that was once his everything. To add to Jughead's confusion when he's around Archie he feels all the tell tale signs of being in love. A racing heart- blush on his cheeks- but there's something else, something very unusual. The veins in his hands light up like lightning in a storm. He was aware of Archie's feelings for him but Jughead worried that if he told Archie about his glowing veins that he would leave his life forever.
