Izuku was...quirkless. So it came as a shock when he passed the hero course entrance exam with only a Katana and his wits. Though, not everything is as it appears. When he was diagnosed his father, the notorious villain Dragon, killed his mother. Now the boy must struggle with secrets, abuse, school, and how to take care of himself as he climbs the latter to his dream. Although, the road seems to be paved in black.
