Thousands of years into the future, after the bomb that caught the world at its weakest, when zombies rule the cold nights and weapons rule the days, when your only chance of survival is killing, and when your government is basically destroyed: Dream is a loyal follower of the current president, leading a well-known group alongside the notorious fighter Technoblade. Living a life of fame and comfort, (At least, as comfortable as one gets in this world) it seems the talented, clever man has nothing to worry about. Or so he may think. George is living under the radar, his incredible skills with the bow and arrow just barely keeping him alive. On the run with his best friend, Sapnap, and finding things he wasn't supposed to, George isn't sure what to do anymore. He quickly learns that not everything is what it seems. AU Where George can skate just as well as he can code. George loves to ice skate, it's always been like a second life to him. Key words: Second life. He had a steady job, doing YouTube with his friends, coding plug-ins for Minecraft, and streaming on occasion, but he was a different person when he walked through those big white doors to the rink he spent so much of his free time at. George's sister, Cara, helps fly Dream over as a surprise and oh boy, it was a shock for both of them. Not only does he now have to deal with his annoyingly charming best friend who was planning who knows what for Christmas, but a skating competition his rink mate somehow dragged him into. At the same time. What could be better than that? I made this for the fun of it because I had writer's block, it is not meant to make anyone uncomfortable. The title says it all. - I respect both Dream and George's sexuality. If they ever feel uncomfortable with shipping I will make this private. As much as I love the ship, I do not want to overstep boundaries. I only ship their Minecraft personas, not the real person. Dream and George are real people, respect them. Dream was thrown into a game of life or death. Only one person could survive, only one person could come out of the bloodbath with their life. The rules were simple. Save yourself. Don't care for anyone. Don't die. But he couldn't follow the rules anymore. Because George was there, thrown into the arena just like him, set to die, or watch everyone die around him.
