Marinette Dupain-Cheng, at the age of 6, met with a car accident that killed both her parents and caused her amnesia. Unfortunately for her, she was adopted by a leader of a huge thieving organisation and was convinced to be led down the wrong path. She only started regaining her memories at the age of 14, when her "father" abandoned her. It doesn't end there. Silent thieves who prefer to stay hidden from the organisation, framed her again and again, causing the famous Chat Noir to be onto her, giving her multiple warnings, but the feline hero could never bring himself to arrest the girl.
