Luna a 15 year old girl attends the funeral of her missing twin brother after her parents presume he's dead. Luna doesn't want to admit that he might actually be gone and tries to find clues to where he might've gone. Along the way she meets one of the creatures in the woods who helps her on her journey. Sadly while she was out her house burns down and she feels like she was responsible. No one died but her mother was placed in the hospital. She blames her new creature friend for what happened and doesn't want it's help anymore. Eventually she comes to her scenes and realizes that the only way to find and help her brother is trusting it.
