Poppy and Branch discover that there are but one of six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb, aided by her father King Thrash, wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme by collecting all six strings that create different music. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends Biggie, Satin & Chenille, Cooper, Smidge, Guy Diamond & his newborn son Tiny Diamond, and newcomer Legsly set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who's looking to upstage them all.

Poppy and Branch discover that there are six different troll tribes scattered over six different lands. Each tribe is also devoted to six different kinds of music -- funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. When rockers Queen Barb and King Thrash set out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save the diverse melodies from becoming extinct.
