Instead he was taken into the League Of Shadows. Trained as an assassin for 3 years before running away from the League, and creating A circus of his own;'The Parade of a Thousand Birds'.However,strange deaths of the supposedly corrupt and wealthy follow this circus and the Justice league closes in when the circus comes to Gotham. The Young Justice League ( with Red Arrow/ Speedy included) must go under cover to find out what exactly is going on in the circus. Meaning they must join the act in the circus the young Robin has created. ~ Welcome to our Circus, ~ ~ Where all birds come home to roost. ~ ~ We are birds of the same feather, ~ ~ We will be your roots. ~

Renegade smirked mischievously,"Sure, but if I kill 100 killers, then that number goes down by like 99 ya know." --- Dick Grayson was never taken in by Bruce Wayne the night of his parents murder. Instead, he was taken in by Deathstroke, the renowned mercenary. He was abused constantly as well as trained in order to become the perfect apprentice; or as better known, Renegade. What happens when Batman discovers a kid committing murders in Gotham? Surely, Batman wouldn't even let a kid break the law. Justice must be delivered and he must be taken to prison.... But then again... This kid is Dick Grayson :)

Bruce Wayne couldn't come to the circus performance that fateful night. Instead, Deathstroke finds a young Dick Grayson running from the scene, who he takes in as his apprentice, training him to be a mercenary as he himself is. He cares for him as he would a son, but when a contract comes up, Deathstroke is forced to put his protégé through more than he ever had before to fulfill the contract, possibly putting more emotional strain on the boy's mind than he was prepared to handle. The Son of Deathstroke would infiltrate the Justice League by way of their team of sidekicks. xXx Not technically finished, but I'm not updating it anymore whoops

Dick Grayson was never the 'Justice' type... Nor was he the 'Revenge' type. He was neither hero or villain Good or evil. Right or wrong Held right at the epicenter of gray areas and blurred lines. He was just the messenger of information, An information broker and hacker by the name of Rat.

No Zucco, No Slade, No Batman. Dick just turns away from society all together. He became an assassin, he kills for money or anyone who ever does anything to a family. He's definitely not completely sane. Even some of the big villains in Gotham fear him. He goes by a new name, one that perfectly fits his persona. Deathstroke didn't have to. He really didn't have to. Finding a small black haired and blue eyed boy on the grimy streets of Gotham was never part of the plan. Taking him wasn't either. Raising him was out of the question. But here he was, Deathstroke the Terminator, raising a wisecracking apprentice who could simultaneously make the mercenary proud and get on his every nerve. Deathstroke trained the boy, trained him well. But something made him hesitate, something like fear. Deathstroke would never admit it, never out loud anyway, but in all his years of killing and living up to his name... he didn't want to lose that boy. Overprotective was never in Deathstrokes vocabulary, but this boy was different, he could work wonders.
