L, the worlds greatest detective investigating the Kira case, comes in contact with a young highschool genius named Light Yagami after the police officer following light suddenly dies. Light becomes a prime suspect in the case and is forced to be with L 24/7. Everything seems normal to all the task force members, but not L, he knows that Light is Kira, just doesn't have any evidence. Whilst L is trying to convict light of being the worlds biggest mass murderer, he starts feeling butterflies every time he sees the young man (which is all the time).
