Nini Salazar-Roberts has hated Ricky Bowen since the day he stepped into her Intro to Songwriting class at UCLA. That's that, and that'll never change. Until it does.

When you fall in love with someone, you never expect to fall out. Nini sure didn't. She loved Ricky more than anything, and she thought he loved her too. They were each others worlds after all. So, much to her surprise: It was a very rude awakening for this poor girl when the boy she loved more than anything in the world, did not say "I love you" back to her. But after a summer of waiting for her to come home from camp, he is finally ready. At least he thought. He didn't expect her to come home with a new boyfriend. He didn't expect everything to fall apart. But Ricky won't let that happen.
