Tarver took after his mother; with her white hair and stunning blue eyes, he makes for one handsome devil. He knew he was his mom and dad's happy ever after, knew he was their miracle, but a monster can't be a miracle. He heard stories of his mother Athrhea and her Other Ashaura from when she was little and when she met his father Gemini. He hears of her bravery, but he also hears of her callousness and brutality. His father always said he was just like his mother, and never had there been a more accurate statement; Tarver was just like his mother. Starting fresh at college in New Orleans, he's looking for purpose, to find the kind of love his parents have, if it exists. But when ghosts-or goddesses, as is more accurate-come to haunt the Rosende family, Tarver is left with tough choices: follow his own path or give in to the violence in his heart that begs for release. It all comes down to one final moment, the moment where his destiny will be made clear. Thrown into an impossible situation, Tarver has to decide just how much Haven he has in his blood and decide whether to fight or submit to the curse his family has been fighting against for decades.
