Rey is a senior in high school who just can't wait to leave her boring hometown Jakku. All her life she had the feeling that nothing ever happened to her, that she had just lived an ordinary life like every other teenager. Kylo Ren is a member of a gang called "The First Order". He is known to have a bad reputation just like his friends Snoke and Hux. Drugs, booze, trouble and carelessness are things that are associated with him, even though nobody seems to know him well enough to know who he really is. After a party, both Rey's and Kylo's lives change, as they suddenly connect with each other. Something that neither Rey nor Kylo thought would ever happen to them. Especially not in Jakku. Kylo Ren seems to have life handed to him on a siver platter. Money, women, and fame. All he's ever dreamed of. Plus his demon of a girlfriend, Jessica seems to help steer him in the direction to be the player he is now. But he wasn't always this way. His dad, Han Solo, created a summer camp for aspiring artists; no matter how rich or poor, they could come. With his bad publicity arising in the magazines, his mother, Leia Solo, demands him to get away from the city and come to camp to get his life together or else his career is over. The catch, he has to teach the vocal classes. So with not wanting to risk his fame, he prepares for camp and his girlfriend tags along to his dismay as Jessica wants to be a star of her own and to make sure she's on top. Rey, is a orphaned child who just wants to express her talent through music. She lives with a no good man who lies, cheats and steals, Unkar Plutt. He's in charge of the orphanage & all the children but sadly Rey is the last of them. She spends her free time making music, dancing, and most importantly, singing. Growing up on her own has made her strong, yet lonely. She finally has saved enough change to enroll into Camp Galaxy and to actually make more friends. Before she goes to leave, she finally gains enough courage to break up with her abusive boyfriend Kyle of only 3 months right before she leaves to go. With a fresh new start to her summer and even life, things can't seem to get any better for her until she gets the chance of a lifetime.

Rey never knew her parents. She grew up in the Nima orphanage with her best friends, Finn and Rose. Rey had always loved to read, books were her escape. In books girls like her, orphans from nowhere always had amazing adventures, and discovered that their parents were really heroes or royalty. She loved all books, but her favorite was a new series that came out: The Starlight Chronicles. It was a science fiction - fantasy series that told of adventures in a far away galaxy. Rey quickly became the self proclaimed number one fan of the series, she wrote fan fictions on wattpad, made fan art, she had even written letters to the author. They became pen pales, best friends and she wants to meet him more than anything.

Rey had grew up in an abusive foster home with her foster father Unkar Plutt who would abuse her and make her work for food. She is finally saved and taken into care at 15 years old and placed in the orphanage. Rey is still very weary of people especially when the get angry so will she be able to survive Kylo Ren's angry outbursts and help him in the process?
