Some days, he was taken to Morgana's chambers and tortured for betraying her until it got too much for him. Soon, his and Morgana's relationship changed. She let Merlin go as long as he stayed loyal to her. Over time, they started to become close again the same way they were before things got complicated. Gwen was back to being Morgana's maid and was ripped away from her title. She couldn't believe Merlin and how fast he fell for her 'tricks'. Of course, Gwen was somewhat alright with Morgana, but she still couldn't forgive her for what she did to Arthur. That's why she couldn't understand why Merlin was so smitten with her.
