The Diamonds felt sorry for them, and decided that Spinel should get a break from all the duties for a while to be able to spend time with Steven. But, the thing was... when she heard about this, she was really happy... like "get to finally be able to talk to your crush" kinda happy. The Diamonds took notice of this and were happy about it, but unfortunately, Steven and Connie are now a thing (no hate to those who ship it, by the way.)...
