After the monsters raised from Mt. Ebbot they quickly declared peace. They coexist and lived with humans, for a single moment everything was perfect... but then that moment changed. The ambassador of monsters became ill, the greedy humans saw this as a chance to attack. No one can really pinpoint who made the first strike, but that did not matter for war was inevitable.
