Rick never thought he would ever care for anyone ever again, but Daryl started to stick by Rick through all the hell he was going through and was always there for him through thick and thin and showed that his feelings for Rick were something stronger and deeper than friendship or like a brother. Soon Daryl realizes he wanted something more and promised that he would never leave Rick's side and would do anything for him and his kids. Rick starts to open his heart once again for Daryl and hopes he doesn't get hurt. Rick goes through many hardships and fights to find the path of being a stronger person for himself and others who need him.
