Everything had absconded. Nothing was left. Susan, his spouse was impelled to the apprehension of bereavement. Was there anything still left for him to be solicitous? Legitimately, if a mortal left was, his only crux of exhilaration, his father: Mr. Charles, but alas he had retreated too while exhuming an antediluvian site, perhaps more apropos to explain, a realm of suprem- acy, Asphaldite in Greece. Irrevocably, he decided to quest for his omitted father but regrettably, he, not being mellowed enough, ebbed too. Where had they receded and consigned a comfy life for no intention? The veracity was rather fummoxing but accurately what it was, no one knew. Had they sallied to the past; at the primeval stint of the Titans or to the primitive regime of King Asphal Zudite? There was no corroboration for their prospect in Greece but assuredly enough, they had trekked backwards in stint and disembarked at the stint of King Zudite, who was in the pursuit of a potent weapon called Scythe, a consecrated weapon of Chronos and had created an acquaintance with David and Hades, the immortal God of underworld, who desired to revitalize his father Chronos, for his vengeance with Zeus. Will Zeus not maneuver his Thunderbolt and intrude them from un- earthing the Scythe or will he endorse them to rejuvenate his prevalent antagonist, Chronos? Will they ever, in their intact lifetime, be profcient to locate Scythe and revive Chronos from Tartarus, a dwelling beyond the precincts of hell, where obnoxious Goliaths like Titans went after croaking or will their trek perpetually terminate with the rage and foreboding of Zeus or not? Let us squint into their enigmatic voyage as "THE SECRETS OF ASPHALDITE", commands your crux and heaves you on an invigorating excursion of trepidation, conspiracy and romance.

With his pride and her prejudice, what could possibly go wrong? When the arrogant Blake Hansen steals Addie Preston's promotion at the library, he pretty much rubs her nose in it. But Addie, who dreams of being a full-fledged librarian, decides to stick it out. She loves surrounding herself with books and keeping her father's memory alive in the building where they spent so much time together. Soon, Addie learns that her beloved library will be torn down to make room for a larger facility, and she has to make a choice. Fight, or let go? To complicate things, she finds herself attracted to Blake, who is engaged to someone else. Will Blake and Addie ever resolve their differences? This is a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice, with hints of the other Jane Austen books as well.
