With Eden lost to the Void, Gin and a few others go in a ship to seek help for a nearby solar system of the planet Hydrax. They hope to find humanoid life their that will aid in their fight to take back Eden from the Void before it consumes and spreads. As the same time Gin faces his inner demons as he struggles to control his new acquired form.
