Eliot Gerard has always found her visits to her twin sister Elixir's farm in the lush, sun-drenched countryside of Germany to be more of a duty than a joy. Their relationship has always been fraught with tension-two halves of the same whole who could never seem to click. Every visit was a reminder of the distance between them, both emotional and physical. She knew exactly what to expect... until she didn't. This time, something is different. A stranger. Octavius Weber. A tall, striking German man with a magnetic charm, someone she's never met on any of her previous visits. He seems to materialize out of thin air, his presence both a mystery and a magnet. And he's undeniably intrigued by her-something in his eyes burns with curiosity, and she can't help but wonder what's behind it. For Octavius, meeting Eliot is an unexpected shock. Elixir's enigmatic twin sister, the one he's heard about but never imagined existed, stands before him, stirring a mix of intrigue and something more dangerous. But there's a problem-he's always harbored feelings for Elixir, feelings that are unresolved and tangled with loyalty. He can't touch Eliot, can't cross that line, not when she's the mirror image of the woman he's tried to forget. Caught in a vortex of burning desire and temptation, both are trapped by forces they can't control. A pull so fierce, so undeniable, that it threatens to betray the very foundation of all their relationships. The question is no longer if they will fall-it's how deep the fall will be, and whether they can ever escape the tangled web they've woven before it consumes them both. [The Eighth Book of the V-Series] A Standalone Novella.

Javier Carlsen, the son of the legendary chess grandmaster Gander Carlsen, has lived his life in the shadow of his father's brilliance-and his countless scorned lovers. Raised by Gander alone, life was no walk in the park. Javier was his "golden son," groomed for greatness, but that golden boy was only a pawn in a game of power and manipulation. His father's empire was built on cold strategy, but the lines of betrayal were longer than Javier ever could have imagined. Zeva Hayek, a force of nature, was no stranger to pain and revenge. Fueled by the desire to get back at Gander for the lies and deceit he'd woven into her life, Zeva was ready to strike when the time was right. And when she found the perfect way to exact her vengeance, she didn't hesitate. She took the one thing that meant most to Gander: His son. Javier. Kidnapped, tortured, and pushed to the edge of his own limits, Javier is forced into a brutal and twisted battle of dominance with Zeva. It's a vicious power play-a clash of wills and desires that ignites a fire neither of them expected. Every moment is a game of control and destruction, a war waged through hate and raw need. They're both playing their own twisted versions of chess, only the stakes are higher and the moves more dangerous. But beneath the hatred, beneath the dominance, something shifts. They begin to wonder-could there be more to this connection than just pain and revenge? What if what they needed most was what they already had-each other? The question lingers, as does the tension-could they survive the game they've started, or will it consume them both? Tenth Book of the V-Series A Stand-Alone Novel.

River Stone, an intrepid archaeologist, has uncovered what most only dream of-an ancient, hidden tribe deep within the Amazon, the Ibori, protectors of forbidden magic, vast wealth, and deadly power. With her archaeologist friend, Christopher Rai, she navigates the treacherous jungle to reach their sacred sanctuary. But it's Yisrael Ibori, the firstborn son of the clan's leader, Yuri, who is tasked with keeping watch over their "guests." Dutiful and fierce, Yisrael carries out his responsibility with unwavering focus, but there's a problem. River. Every step she takes, every movement of her body, draws his attention like a magnet. The way her hips sway, the deep rise of her chest, the soft curve of her lips-they haunt him, pulling at something deep inside, a longing he can't ignore. For River, the discovery of the lost Ibori history is the culmination of her career. She stands on the precipice of a monumental victory. But the moment her eyes lock with Yisrael's piercing onyx gaze, the treasures of the Ibori suddenly seem insignificant. There's something more precious here, something far deeper than the artifacts or the legends she's chased her entire life. What begins as a war between the mind and heart quickly grows into a battle neither of them can win. River knows her sharp intellect can't outwit Yisrael's unshakable resolve, and Yisrael is torn between his duty to his people and the undeniable pull of desire. In a world where power, magic, and temptation collide, will they fight the fire burning between them-or will it consume everything they've ever known? Seventh Book of V-series A standalone novel

#College romance #Fated Mates #Enemies to Lovers Fate doesn't send a warning text. What happens when the werewolf you can't stand becomes the werewolf you can't live without? **** As a neurosurgery student, I, Yvaine Mackenzie, have only one thing on my brain-well, the brain. Born werewolf, but with a self-prescribed immunity to the whole fated-mate concept, I never speculated how I would meet my other half. My life is already packed to the brim with surgical precision: textbooks, hospital shifts, matcha dates with my roommates, and making sure my twin brother-aka, our college's famous team captain-leaves the wereball field with all his limbs intact. That's right, wereball-the unnecessarily aggressive sport comparable to human football but with no refs, no penalties, and no protective gear. Or as I like to call it, uncivilized, primitive, and a waste of medical supplies. Everything fits perfectly into my color-coded agenda... until one night I innocently lend out my phone and receive the filthiest message from an anonymous rival player. Figures, as he's the most arrogant, irritating, and ill-mannered person I've never met. And my REM-sleep has never been the same. Though somewhere between late-night texting and morning bickering, the shockingly perceptive mystery man I renamed "Rudolph" becomes my closest confidante. But we can't hide behind our screens forever. The more our friendship deepens, the closer we draw toward catastrophic secrets and one undeniable truth-how we accidentally texted destiny into existence. When everything explodes...will I be able to forgive him? If I'd known one silly text would tilt the axis of my life? I would've done some cardio. Strengthened my heart. Kept a defibrillator with me. All the time.

"That's Rubble." I tune back into the conversation, having missed the entire thing, I think introductions were made but I got bored so. "He's the biggest pain in the ass when his best friend isn't here so be warned." Saviour teases and my jaw drops. "Excuse you? I am easily the best person here to hang out with." "Easily the most delusional person to hang out with." Marielle retorts and I gasp dramatically. "I am offended Mari, what have I ever done to deserve such treatment? I am a delight! A pure and utter delight." "You've been playing Tetris for seven hours." Lexie points out and I look at the clock in surprise. "Damn, really? I lost way too much time, hey do you think if I close my eyes I'll just see the bricks?" Juniper laughs at that, along with the others, and it's a welcome sound. A beautiful one, really. "Probably, I'm surprised you haven't gone blind." Cassidy tells me and I shake my head. Me too, Cass, me too.
