Liv is a twelve-year-old Norwegian princess. She and her family love to help the poor, give toys to the orphans, and build homes and care for the homeless. That all changes one day, when a rebellion happens. Liv and her family are scattered and forced to flee. Liv flees to the forest with her sister, Freya, and cousin, Katherine. As they face many strange events, they try to sort out who overthrew them and who they would be. Will their life ever be the same again?

These poems, cries from a soul mired in the skepticism of reason in the face of faith, were born from the need to restore God's presence in the author's life. Long lost in philosophical questions, the author, having decided that it is enough simply to believe, without asking, without hesitation, wished to use his poetic gift to speak to this God he had long denied but who remained wondrous to him. This collection is a cry from the soul, transcribed into words by a fragile pen. The author.

As God said King David was a man after his own heart. I too want to be called a woman after God's heart. This collection of poems were written over the years in my growth in Jesus Christ. Though not perfect, they are true and soulful, seeking the desire to have God's full attention. May my words of love, honesty, and deep commitment encourage you in your path towards righteousness. Let this remind you to open your heart to Jesus every minute of the day and to let him be your guide. Your votes, comments, and shares are welcomed. God bless you! New Posts every Saturday morning.

A princess falls asleep to a war and awakes to an empty kingdom. When the forces of the Fair Folk seized the kingdom belonging to the Starbornes, they unleashed their newly developed weapon; a mist that forced the people to fall into a deep sleep. Princess Larkin awakes in a tower, alone and disoriented, twenty years after the usurp. The world is a different and unforgiving place. Her elder siblings are either dead or captives, and the Fair Folk are the rulers of a kingdom where her own people are now enslaved. As a child, she was rash and reckless, but now she must be the Queen she never thought she'd be. Born without the hereditary Starborne powers like her siblings, Lark is just another human but with a crown. Her only claim to the throne is her blood rather than the magic that runs through her family tree. As the Fair Folk march against the last human stronghold in the East, Lark struggles to become the Queen she needs to be without the abilities that they have come to expect from a Starborne. She cannot defeat the Fair Folk alone. Their allies turned against them in support of the Fair Folk, and so Lark must turn to the one race her family banished centuries ago; the Mountain Sprites. Handsome, distant, and war-loving King Caspian of the Sprites is no lover of her kind after they trapped them beyond the Mountains, and he is not keen to see a Starborne return to the throne. However, Lark makes him an offer he cannot refuse in a desperate attempt to save her people and restore the dynasty. cover by the fabulous FableWrites
