Liv is a twelve-year-old Norwegian princess. She and her family love to help the poor, give toys to the orphans, and build homes and care for the homeless. That all changes one day, when a rebellion happens. Liv and her family are scattered and forced to flee. Liv flees to the forest with her sister, Freya, and cousin, Katherine. As they face many strange events, they try to sort out who overthrew them and who they would be. Will their life ever be the same again?

These poems, cries from a soul mired in the skepticism of reason in the face of faith, were born from the need to restore God's presence in the author's life. Long lost in philosophical questions, the author, having decided that it is enough simply to believe, without asking, without hesitation, wished to use his poetic gift to speak to this God he had long denied but who remained wondrous to him. As God said King David was a man after his own heart. I too want to be called a woman after God's heart. This collection of poems were written over the years in my growth in Jesus Christ. Though not perfect, they are true and soulful, seeking the desire to have God's full attention. May my words of love, honesty, and deep commitment encourage you in your path towards righteousness. A princess falls asleep to a war and awakes to an empty kingdom.
