"I don't mind being alone, as long as it's with you." - Hogwarts has reopened after the war, and Professor McGonagall has given Draco Malfoy another chance to attend the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She may be forgiving, but will the others? Will they accept him or repel him? And more importantly, will the former Death Eater accept himself?

Hermione felt the pounding in her ears again. She would see him for the first time since the Great Hall, gaunt and stricken at the Slytherin table with his mother clutching his arm. She hadn't meant to look for him. Not in the corridors, not beneath the white sheets of the fallen, not on the way to the Chamber of Secrets with Ron, but she was a stupid girl.

Draco Malfoy. One of the most arrogant teenage boys in Slytherin's house. He struts through the school and doesn't miss an opportunity to cut someone down, just as he has been by his father his entire life. Now enter Elena Crowe. A quiet girl who tries her hardest to stay out of trouble, and one of Ravenclaw's best students. She always has the best answers and never fails to help someone in need, even if they may not deserve it. In their sixth year at Hogwarts, Draco finally runs into Elena, whom he has never seemed to notice before. Elena does her absolute best to stay away from him, because all he can be is trouble, but Draco finds amusement by forcing himself into her life. For what reason, he doesn't know; but what he does know is that he enjoys bantering with this quiet girl, because even she can get riled up and fight back. But Draco will see that Elena is a lot more than what she may seem. Soon he will be battling morales, his past, his family, and both of them may end up facing off in the final battle not with Lord Voldemort, but each other.

"What the hell are you talking about Hermione?" Draco was frowning now, making a visible effort to curtail his own irritation. "Of course I remember you. I was simply being polite to make this easier on both of us." This is the prequel to Fated to Love You and follows the development of Draco and Hermione's friendship during their last year at Hogwarts! Upon graduation, Hermione took up a post in the ministry of magic's magical law enforcement department and Draco started studying to become a healer. They left on good terms but life got busy and they lost contact with each other. That is, until one fateful day in November, six years later. Pán zla je na vrcholu své moci. Draco už měsíce myslí na dívku, jež je tam venku a schovává se před silami zla, a s vynaložením všech sil sabotuje každičký plán, s nímž se mu jeho otec svěří, aby měla alespoň nějakou naději na lepší zítřek. Jednoho deštivého večera však Pán zla svolává schůzi. Draco na ni jde s přesvědčením, že mu uloží trest za nesplněný úkol, vyhlídky jsou však horší, než doufal. Pán zla v rukou svírá důkaz a ve sklepení ukrývá onu dívku, na níž Dracovi tolik záleží. ------------------------ Jednodílová povídka nebyla napsána za účelem zisku. Grangerová a Malfoy se nezávisle na sobě vrací na místo činu, zpátky do Bradavic, tentokrát už ne jako studenti, ale jako členové profesorského sboru. Oba dva ve svém životě už nutně potřebovali změnu, která se nakonec ukázala jako obrovská a která svedla jejich cesty dohromady, z čehož upřímně nebyli šťastní. Spíš naopak. Jejich cesty se, merlinužel, protkaly i s cestou Adriana Thomase Halea, bývalého vedoucího Bystrozorského úřadu, o němž se všeobecně ví, že je šmejd. Jestli tomu tak ale opravdu je, to budou muset posoudit sami. A taky že posoudí... Členem profesorského sboru je mimo jiné i Neville Longbottom, který má, zdá se, ze všech mladých profesorů nejvíc rozumu. V Bradavicích nesmí chybět ani samotné jádro zdejšího hradu jako například ředitelka McGonagallová, Pomona Prýtová, nesmrtelná knihovnice Pinceová, Sybila se svým vnitřním okem, velikán Kratiknot, školník Filch s nesmrtelnou paní Norissovou a další. Nebude to lehký rok, ale ani ten nejhorší. Bude to rok plný soukromých nenávistných válek, ale taky vzájemné tolerance, hvězd, přátel, nové generace Zmijozelu, Prasinek a nového Bradavického strašidla, jež vzniklo nedopatřením a za jehož stvořením stojí jeden z členů profesorského sboru. *** Oddechová povídka z prostředí Bradavických profesorů. Povídka nemá nic společného s Uměním tolerance. Adriana jsem si z UT šlohla čistě jen jako mou autorskou postavu. Délka kapitol: 3500 - 4000 slov Kapitoly vychází každý všední den.
