ATTENTION: This is the SECOND book of my Vampire's Pet series and cannot be read as a stand alone book. ~~~ I thought that my life had ended the day I got purchased by a blood thirsty monster. I thought that the rest of my life was going to be nothing but constant fear and suffering. But I couldn't have been more wrong. What I found was something much different. Something that I didn't even know I was looking for let alone wanted. What I found was a new beginning. A new beginning with the one I cared most for. ~~~ Cover by: @aculeasis

When I was a child, I used to think the monsters Mom used to tell me in her fairytale stories were scary. But now that I've seen the real world, I've realized humans are much scarier. There's an evil king turning innocent people into demons, villages literally dying from lack of resources, and the only way to solve this is an eighteen year old girl who doesn't even know her real identity yet. Well, that's going to change real soon because unless the world wants an army of controlled demons ruling the world, someone's got to stand up. Cover: @LadySnowdrop [HIATUS]

*She wasn't looking for love - just snacks and a nap. But then he smiled...* ~True love? Unexpected. Emotional growth? Unwanted. Drama? Inevitable.~ Veronica D'Costa isn't exactly the main character type just - a regular teen: emotionally avoidant, chronically sarcastic, and fully committed to winging her way through life, with her loyal (and mildly chaotic) friend group. One night. One betrayal. That changed everything. Now Veronica's pretending, deflecting, and power-napping her way through emotions. But when a certain boy - golden-eyed, infuriatingly kind, and way too observant - starts asking the right questions, she'll have to do the one thing she's avoided all year: feel. Because surviving senior year means more than just acing math or mastering beer pong - it means facing what broke her, before she lets it define her. She's growing up. She's falling in love. And she might just be the main character after all. Messy, meaningful, and mildly chaotic - this is the year everything changes. Even her. P.S.- This isn't a fairy tale. It's a slightly sarcastic coming-of-age crisis.

"You know, what I really crave for at the moment?" I whispered with a smoky tone, leaning closer to his non-existent face. "Your death..." My tone became quieter as I jabbed the knife into his torso, repeatedly. The dark reddish blood was flowing out of him like the river; he was falling to the floor, still bleeding. I was standing there and couldn't read my own emotions. Was I relieved? I can't be relieved though, I just killed someone. . . . For her entire Iife--or what she remembers of it--she's been afraid of what she could become. Gifted with a murder for a mother, she's always thought herself cursed with an innate bloodlust. With a missing past and a questionable future, she fights to not only keep the allies she has but to keep the last shred of sanity that clings to her consciousness. Of course, doing so becomes even harder to do when mysterious things start to surround her. A man in her mind. A girl out for her blood. And a woman seemingly back from the dead. Will Daisy be able to discern the truth that had been hidden from her for the past seven years? Or will everything become too much to handle?
