Variable adjective | not consistent or having a fixed pattern; liable to change. In a science experiment, there are three kinds of variables: independent, dependent and controlled. This is one of the first things about science that Senku learns as a kid and has followed that rule until he meets (Full Name) who changes that one rule. To Senku, science is never about consistency as things are always evolving and changing, yet that doesn't apply to (Name) and he can never understand it.
