Caleigh Lansky isn't like others her age. Her little sister, Heavyn, has been diagnosed with Leukemia and their mother died when Heavyn was a newborn. Their father hardly gets to see them and when he does see them, it is from behind bars. Caleigh and Heavyn are sent to live with a foster family until either their father is released from prison or another family member comes forth to take care of them.
