Percy knelt before three of the gods. His hair was messy and his skin pale. His eyes were red rimmed and puffy and his cheeks tear stained. "Percy? What are you doing here so late?" Lady Hera asked. "I have a request." Percy said in a croaky voice. "Anything for the saviour of Olympus." Lady Hestia replied immediately. "I wish to die." When Annabeth breaks Percy's heart and turns everyone against him, he begs Artemis, Hestia and Hera to kill him. Not wanting their favourite hero to die, they give him a new purpose to live. As the hunts new guardian.

Persephone (Percy) Jackson likes to think that if she had known what was coming when she had boarded that warship on her way to Greece to save the world than she would have done something different. Why, after everything, had she survived? And that's when the Justice League comes in along with her mysterious new uncle, Bruce Wayne, who may be more than he appears. Could these people be her home and salvation she's searched so desperately for? Or is it too late? After all, you can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved.
