Barbara is a normal 12 year old girl, ok so not that normal. Her dad is the commissioner of Gotham city. Her best friend is the adoptive son of gothams richest playboy. And she has the smarts of a collage student. But things are about to get a whole lot weirder when dick has some..... *cough *cough news.

This story takes place three years after Dick Grayson aka Nightwing left to become the leader of the Teen Titans, he returns to his real family. Where he finds an all ready died second boy wonder and a 3rd all ready in the house. Not to mention the love of his life Barbara Gordon. But what will happen when the team finds out that Jason is still alive.

Barbara Gordon is your normal 16 year old senior in high school... okay so that's not normal, but for her it is just another day in school until her stepmother is brutally beaten by the mob and saved by Batman and Robin. As Barbara decides to track down the mob boss who ordered the hit, will she get more than she bargained for? Or will she find her true calling?

{{On Hiatus}} Barbara Gordon has never been a people person. In fact, Dick Grayson and Bruce Wayne are two of the few people she talks to- and that's mostly because she works with them as Batgirl! So when Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, comes down with her cousin Clark Kent, Barbara is much less than thrilled in learning she is going to be the one entertaining the very talkative, very outgoing, and- in Barbara's opinion- very annoying girl who believes Barbara is her best friend. At least Dick has to suffer with her. What Barbara doesn't know is what is going on behind the scenes- a major conspiracy against Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. When the three heroes get kidnapped by their archenemies, Barbara has to learn how to get along with her total opposite to help Dick get them back. And maybe, just maybe, she'll get a new friend along the way.

The second half of Barbara Gordon's 8th grade year will be the strangest and most dangerous time of her life as she deals with school, boys, her family and being Batgirl for the first time. With her father shot in the leg by the Barbara decides to pick up the investigation herself leading to many twists and turns through Gotham City.

They grew up together. Fighting together. Fighting each other. He was robin; the annoying cocky little kid who was dealt a rough hand. She was the spunky red head with moxie. Now he's Nightwing and has changed a lot from his old self. They're in their senior year at Gotham academy and trying to survive high school drama and The Team, while juggling the Big Bat, all while fighting their raging new hormones for each other? Yeah, you could say things can get a little complicated.

This is a sequel to Batgirl Begins. When tensions rise in the Batcave, will Barbara stand by Bruce Wayne (Batman) when Dick Grayson (Robin) threatens to leave the nest?
