Michael Jackson is a huge star (destined to become the biggest in the world) but he is a very lonely man. In 1982, following the split of a secret love affair, he adopts a son. Happy to have a family of his own, Michael feels happy and complete. Until 10 years later when his son, Noah's birth mother shows up and wants to meet him. Desperate to keep his family together and afraid his son will get hurt, Michael immediately fights to keep this woman away from his son. But Jackie has fought too hard for too long to turn her life around to be kept from her son now and she will let this play out in the media if she must. Both are united by their love for Noah but detest each other in every other way.
