A pair of crimson eyes meet my own and stare for a minute, before tearing themselves away, underlined by a slight pink blush. "I want to become a hero to save people, to show people that, in dark times, sometimes a single candle can light up an entire room. I want to protect those who can't protect themselves. People get kidnapped, raped, and murdered in alleyways by busy streets, but nobody bats an eye, no one even notices a thing. They may hear a scream, but with the Symbol of Peace looking out for them, they just stay optimistic. 'Oh, it's just some kids playing games with their quirks. We've got nothing to fear!'" A single tear silently forms in my eye before making its way down my cheek. A couple gasps and some shocked chatter fills the room. I look down, and my voice sounds, barely above a whisper.
