Jenny's childhood was scarred by loss and abuse so much so that at the age of 16 she ran away from home to live with her friend Jane. Now after years of keeping herself to herself and avoiding any other contact wherever possible her friend has a request to make that could change everything. She now has to decide if helping Loki is worth risking uncovering her own pains that she has hidden deep for so long. What will be the consequences of that decision? Will she be able to help the God of Mischief and Lies without any more hurt, what will happen when she loses her heart to him, can there be a happy ending for either of them? This story was started thirty-five years ago but it never felt finished. However, since the release of Thor and then Thor The Dark World I decided to rediscover my childhood fantasy and update it. I only noticed his chest pressed heavily against mine when it was too late. His hands grabbed my hips tightly to prevent me from escaping and his breath mixed with mine."

Magic, when used right, can help protect the people of the world from evil. There are many magic wielders in the world. Some are evil, others are neutral, and some use their gift to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Jaylynn Sydney is one of those who protects others. She aims to help those in need any way she can - whether it be by protecting them against demons or simply donating money, food, and shelter to people who need it. By day, she is a simple SHIELD engineer who simply repairs jets, ships, and the helicarrier. SHIELD knows nothing of her powers or the magical world, which is surprising seen as SHIELD seems to know everything about everyone. By night, she works as a masked vigilante who protects those who cannot protect themselves.

D-84, a H.Y.D.R.A. assassin, works alone. Loneliness is normal for her. At least, until she meets the person who will change her life for good. Loki. Set after the battle of New York in Avengers 1.
