Welcome to a Link and Mipha Ship Story!! This is a Link and Mipha story based off the premise of both LoZ: Breath of the Wild and the anime film Your Name. This Fanfic takes place 100 years after the events of the great calamity. The Champions along with Princess Zelda and her appointed knight, Link, conquered and defeated Calamity Ganon the first time at the expense of the entirety of Hyrule and the lives of the Champions. Link was fatally wounded in the battle against the Great Calamity and Zelda along with Purah and Robbie brought him to the Shrine of Resurrection in hopes that he will be healed and could possibly have a life of his own. Link soon discovers a sheikah slate from another time that helps him communicate with Mipha before she met him as a child. The former Hero of Hyrule then sets out on a quest to make sense of what is going on and how he can live a life without a destiny when everything he loved was left behind.

Calamity Ganon is defeated by Princess Zelda and Link, The Chosen Hero. Together, they work on restoring the ashes of the Hyrule they once knew into its former glory and possibly even beyond. During this period of time, they fall in love. Meanwhile the spirit of Mipha, The Zora Princess and Champion of Vah Ruta, watches the pair grow closer to each other and reflects on her feelings towards Link and by extension how she feels about the new couple. (In this story, the champions' spirits stay behind to help rebuild the kingdom in whatever way they can) This story takes place in Mipha's POV. SPOILERS FOR THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD!!!!! DO NOT READ IF YOU PLAN ON PLAYING THE GAME OR HAVE NOT FINISHED IT YET!!!!!

Zelda is finally crowned as queen of the kingdom, giving Link the time and rest he desperately needs. Unable to bear the burdened thoughts any longer, he seeks for a way to reunite with his lost love, even if for a moment. Though the title may be confusing (slightly), basically Master Hand feels bad for pushing the rather new Legend of Zelda characters so hard, so he gives them... presents, per se, to make up for it.
