Darwyna had always dreamed while growing up that she had a special place in the world, because of her father being a strong Blood Elf hunter and her mother a powerful Blood Elf arcane mage. So when her 4 years older brother Darius joins the Kirin Tor at the age of 15, she can't wait for her own powers to emerge. Except they don't, which leaves everyone baffled since an Blood Elf without any kind of magic abilities are unheard of. The only magic that seems to be present is in the shimmer of her green eyes. In the process of all, her father gets killed by Sargeras demons, making her life turn to the worse. Because of her lack of magic, her mother shun her, and Darwyna ends up on her own at the age of 15, living alone in a old hut in the Ghostlands, owning only a knife from her father. After three years alone, she decides to change her path. Short after her 18th birthday, she decides to seek out her brother to see if he can help her, in the floating city of Dalaran. At the same time, the Burning Legion is raging on Azeroth, and Darwyna soon finds herself deep in trouble, when Gul'dan kidnap's her for his evil plans.
