This is a sequel from my previous fanfiction story The One. This takes place eight years after Ben Solo leaves the light side and becomes Kylo Ren once again but this time he's not dealing with just Rey, now he's got to deal with his 14 year old daughter Alix who has now grown much stronger in the Force but will unlock some shocking, revealing truths and some interesting clues and answers to figuring out the question: why did her father really leave?

She was abandoned. Left in the orphanage, with nothing from her parents but a name and a necklace. They had no choice. They had responsibilities, not only to each other, but to their sides of the war. Then, one day, they found her, and everything changed. - Okay, I have a few things to say. 1- this was based off of TFA, and contradicts a lot of things in TLJ. He wants to help his soon to be people and when he gets in an argument with his mother, Leia Organa, about marriage he runs away. He wants to marry for love, not be just another king worried about his wealth and only his health. Ben poses as a begger, but runs into trouble in the make shift streets of Jakku and is saved by a young scavenger named Rey. Rey offers him shelter and he stays with her, learning about Jakku through her eyes, but leaves her when he hears of his father, Han Solo, becoming ill. Ben returns to the palace and informs his father of his new info and his father deems him ready to be the new King. Will Ben be able to make Rey is Queen against his mother's wishes and the law? Will Rey even want to be queen after finding out who Ben really is after he has lied to her then abandon her?

In this AU, our Star Wars darlings have their feet planted firmly on Earth, at The University, where Rey is placed with Dr. Solo as an adviser. Can she tame this shrew of a man?
