• • Book two in the SPARK duology • • Her skin glows, her fingertips draw to points like a lion's claws. She smiles at the thought of inflicting pain on those in front of her. And this terrifies her. It has been three months since Adeira Langston secured her place at Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. She feels safe, her heart is warmed. She's in love with a moody boy who cherishes her above all others, save a little girl with blonde curls. She's living a happy and wonderful life filled with peculiars close to her heart. However, Adeira has discovered that her peculiarity entails more than just the manipulation of electricity. Though this exhilarates her, she is frightened of what she might do the next time she loses control. In order to learn more of her peculiarity's power, Adeira seeks correspondence behind the backs of her friends, her ymbryne, and of Enoch O'Connor. . . .and she intends to keep this correspondence a secret. • [a MPHFPC story] [STARTED: May 6, 2020] [Completed: N/A; Ongoing] • Any republications of this work or of SPARK are strictly prohibited and will be reported on sight. COMPLETED 2016-2017 • • Book One in the SPARK duology • • "Hey wait there a second, invisible boy. I never said I had feelings for Enoch." "Oh please," he scoffed. "The romantic connection between the two of you is so excruciatingly considerable that it blinds me." • Adeira Langston has struggled with her past and peculiarity for a long time. Unintentionally, she hurts people and has the power to kill them at her very will. She needs a base; someone to keep her at bay and in control. And the person that does is a dead-riser she clicked with easily and unexpectedly. • I wrote this book a couple of years ago now, so I apologize for the cringieness, all of the clichés, and hopeless romantic writings. :) • [a MPHFPC story] [STARTED: Winter of 2016] [COMPLETED: September 3rd, 2017] -> a perfect coincidence :) [Author's name used to be 80sQueen1980, but is now rzvenclzw] • [Awards:] 2nd Place Winner of the 2017 Originality Awards [Highest Rankings:] # 1 under finlaymacmillan # 1 under enoch o'connor since 9/17/17 # 15 out of 1,000 + stories under writing Any republications of this work are strictly prohibited and will be reported on sight. The sequel to Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children (My Remake), after their loop slipped and Miss Peregrine is left in arrest as a bird, the peculiar children must band together to save their headmistress all while monstrous hollows are after them. Through encounters with gypsies, nearly escaping capture by wights, and discovering loops and their peculiars, Amber DeVine discovers more and more about her peculiarity and who she really is as a person. From the top of a mountain to the heart of London in the middle of war, these peculiars are determined to bring Miss Peregrine back. I don't own any of the characters, which belong to Ransom Riggs, other than Amber DeVine. Please enjoy my version of Hollow City with my OC. Inspired by the New York Times best seller Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. As time ticks by with every moment spent on the island of Cairnholm, Amber DeVine realizes she hasn't got much of a life at all. The days simply consist of waitressing at her Uncle Kev's pub or enjoying the company of her only friend, Martin. That is, until a mysterious boy comes to visit, claiming his late grandfather knew things about the abandoned children's home that resides on the island, things no ordinary person could perceive. Together, they uncover the truth about the children there, as well as their distinct Headmistress who may be linked to both the boy and Amber's past. All the while, rewriting their lives for the better and unravelling a past Amber would rather keep hidden. A tale of adventure, regret, romance and down right peculiarities. I don't own any of the rights or credits of the characters and story of Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children (Ransom Riggs does) except Amber DeVine and her peculiar antics. Please enjoy my remake with an extra character! (This is a MillardXOC fic). What did I think about my life? It's cool, it's great, and I loved living in a tiny house with no air conditioning in London with my very sweet, very sarcastic cousin. Why would you ask? I mean, sure everyone kept saying, "1972 is your year, (Y/N)!" But I didn't believe it until recently. I had began to get these strange powers. I was a magical Crayon with the weird ability to change the color of anything I chose. I needed to figure out how to control it, or find someone who could teach me. A strange feeling told me to go to Cairnholm, a tiny little area in Wales, and I had nothing better to do. So, now I was off to get weird diseases, find out more about this 'chromokinesis' stuff and maybe fall in love. Didn't matter what order, as long as I had fun on the way, right? Right?? *SEQUEL TO PIGMENT* The world never stops turning. A story may end, but that doesn't mean the life of a character suddenly disappears. I'm still here in Devil's Acre of all places, and it appears that our internal clocks have been reset. Miss Peregrine did say we earned a vacation, and where else could we go, other than sunny Florida? Now we all must decide where our loyalties lie, and opinions among friends differ. Hopefully this won't cleave people apart, especially as we meet new and old friends along the way. This definitely isn't the twentieth century anymore!
