The Seven are united once more, as Nico di Angelo, Coach Hedge and Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano journeys across Europe to Camp Half-Blood and return the Athena Parthenos, which will hopefully remove the rivalry of the two camps. The crew of the Argo II sails the vast Ionian sea, across the Saronic Gulf Islands and lands at Athens, Greece wherein a large army of Gaea, a mix of monsters, giants and traitors, awaits them until Mother Earth, with the help of the blood of two demigods, opens her eyes at the Feast of Spes and crush every living thing in existence and spread chaos. The demigods fight with all their might, swords colliding with enemy swords, hero blood dripping together with evil blood, armies falling and retreating, and Hope...fading away into bits and pieces until every last bit of it vaporizes into extinction. Many things are need to be done in less than two weeks, but Leo's desire to find Calypso and get her out of exile grows stronger by the minute. Nico, Reyna and Hedge clings onto what seemed like the last thread of faith--to bring the two camps together and fight against Gaea. Their fates are at death's door.
