When Shizue Izawa set out on what she thought would be her last journey and attempt to save her students, she never thought she would stumble across a certain demon she had met multiple times in the past. After convincing her to let him come along for this mission, Noir (known as "Kuro" to Shizue) and Shizue find something ancient and mysterious hidden deep in the Great Jura Forest. With the demon seemingly obsessed with what they found, clinging to it while still following her, how will Shizue's journey change? Will it reach the same end that she thought it would?
