A Family Comes First (Kidnapped by Cannibals) fanfiction. If you haven't read the Kidnapped by Cannibals trilogy and spin-off by @masonfitzzy then you should do so now or not much will make sense. I only own the characters I made up, the rest isn't mine and all credit goes to the original owner of the KBC books Mason Fitzgibbon. I hope you all enjoy! She never had a family, and after turning eighteen she no longer had any place to call home. She never belonged and believed that her twentieth birthday would be the same as the last two. She would starve and work and be all alone. That would have been the case of she had never met Dylan Wilcox at the laundromat after a depressing evening of work. If only she asked his name, she would have known to run. Everyone knew the twisted tale of the Wilcox family after they caught and tried James Wilcox. But she didn't ask, she was too exhausted and hungry to think beyond answering the stranger's questions. Now she finds herself on a Wilcox farm, beholden to Dylan's second son, Zachary. Her name is Violet Wilcox. Will she fight or obey? She must decide which life is better - A future with Zachary or returning to the living Hell Dylan 'recused' her from.

"Jessica Cartwright, age eighteen, and Megan Delaney, age seventeen, have been missing since last week. Both girls were last seen leaving their separate schools Monday afternoon." I could hear the news anchor's voice from where I stood at the kitchen sink. "Their families returned from out of town to find the girls gone. Our only lead is Jessica's midnight blue Infiniti SLX, if you see the vehicle, please, call 911 immediately," a police officer followed the anchor. He shut off the television and shot me a sinister look, his eyes dark as his lips tugged into that twisted smirk that made me want to run. He knew I heard. He wanted me to know, for a fact, they would never find me as long as he had me. I remembered what he always told me: "Whether you love me or not, you're mine... Till death do us part." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Northern Heavens is a community like no other, and no one but those within know it exists. Lead by the Eaton family, the community is backwards and ignorant to modern times. Megan soon discovers more sinister things at play than just a backwoods, isolated community. Can she escape? Will she survive the Northern Heavens? Or the Eaton family, to which she unwillingly now belongs? How did her life go so wrong? Or did it? They do say that they love her, protect her, and are proud of her... Would it be so bad to just give in?
