A few years later Danny is 9 and still suffering at the hands of the Guys In White, until a certain Bat comes and rescues him. Now Bruce has to deal with a young terrified mislabeled metahuman who is a lot stronger than he looks and has an uncanny ability to know exactly what anyone is feeling. The GIW, on the other hand, can't let their lab rat heal and save the Ghost Zone they've been working so hard to take over. Things just got a little more spooky in Wayne Manor. Danny Fenton never dreamed of moving away from Amitypark, much less moving to Gotham because according to his family, it had higher levels of ghost activity. Which doesn't make his life any easier. So now he juggles being a new kid, being away from Sam and Tucker during school, crushing on the youngest in a family richer than Sam's, and the even worse ghosts that seem to pollute Gotham even without his father's portal's help.
