Lance McClain has cystic fibrosis but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life. He's been in and out of the hospital a lot. He likes to be in control of everything and doesn't take risks because he doesn't want to jeopardize him getting new lungs. He has to stay 6 feet away from other Cfers and he doesn't mind but that all changes when he meets Keith Kogane. Keith Kogane also has cystic fibrosis but he doesn't like the hospital.
