My nation is on a mission to achieve perfection. My entire life, I've known the U.S. to be in isolationism. I knew that we used to get along with the rest of the world... but I shared the same fear most Americans did. We chose to be different and follow our own customs. The U.S. wasn't necessarily admired for that. We were Americans! Their criticism would just go in one ear and out the other. As the pressure increased as the 21st century ticked by, there were some people who couldn't shut out the harsh words. They were the ones who gained power, and soon became the voice of the U.S. The other countries were out to destroy us, because we were too boisterous and conceited. I wasn't alive when the arguments and the paranoia ensued. I was part of the end result. Where my generation were going to be the ones who would later improve the great nation. However, I never imagined that we would try to drive those who considered us irrational into extinction. To make it worse, they did it by the manipulation of my own generation.
