He was born before the war between humans and monsters, but since his soul was only half human he didn't age properly till after the war and after the first human fell. His father was a fairy and died in the war and his mother died right when he started to age. Kevin started to get bullied after turning three due to the fact that he apparently doesn't age right though he is completely unaware of this.
