An unlikely romance between a strict germaphobe and a dorky trashmouth becomes a daily part of the losers club.

"What are you?" The boy glared at them, a scent of raw meat and lavender surrounding him. He refused to speak, kicking the chain secured around his leg irritably. "Is she trying to protect you from the outside?" Richie tried again, hoping for a response. Surprisingly, the boy perked up. He still looked angry, but he didn't stay quiet. "More like she's trying to protect the outside from me."
